  19. probe of Iraqgate, deemed it "arrant nonsense" to suggest that
  20. the Bush Administration derailed a probe of a scheme to funnel
  21. billions of dollars to Saddam Hussein. If there had been any
  22. corruption, he said, "I would have smelled it." Attorney
  23. General William Barr declared the case closed. But Bill Clinton
  24. may yet reopen it.
